Each story reflects the passion and determination that drives these individuals to pursue their dreams, overcoming challenges along the way and create a similar path for other Black entrepreneurs in the city of Nashville and soon other cities across the country.
Through heartfelt anecdotes, the entrepreneurs discuss the unique hurdles they face as black business owners. From breaking through barriers to accessing resources and creating a viable ecosystem for Black Nashville, their stories shed light on the strength of their spirit and cultural pride in shaping their businesses.

ABV: 7%
Black Abbey- Utility Vacation Kolsch Style ale w/ blueberries
Who’s ready to chill out and get relaxed? Utility Vacation celebrates the beginning of summer and the arrival of “time off time”! This german-style ale doesn’t stray far from its classic crisp, clean, easy drinking roots, but the addition of blueberries to the ferment gives a rich purple color and just enough blueberry flavor and aroma to make you say “Now that's awesome!” Pairs well with condo cookouts, beach blankets and corn hole games.
ABV: 5.3%
Fat Bottom- Teddy Loves Pilsner
Teddy Loves Pilsner is our take on a German-style Pilsner and offers an easy-drinking style that pils drinkers know and love, with a mild hop presence for a refreshing flavor.
ABV: 4.4%
It’s the #1 wheat beer in Germany and one of the world’s favorites. In fact, beer experts call it a masterpiece. In developing this beer, the Paulaner brewmasters have perfected a unique technique with “yeast suspension,” resulting in a uniform, slightly cloudy appearance, consistent quality, and perfect taste.
ABV: 5.5%
